Photoboothed:

Photoboothed: is an on-going art project by Ashley Vaughan. It was developed in the early months of 2006 and explores the representation of the self in visual arts, alongside the instrumental advancements of documentary technologies. The project was inspired by Apple's Photo Booth, a software application that left the artist wondering: if she could document herself at any given moment, what would she choose to reveal?

Photoboothed: is about chronicling the history of self-portraiture; it is about remembering who the artist is and used to be.
